She was a German Benedictine abbess active as a writer, composer, philosopher, mystic, visionary, and a medical writer and practitioner. Although Hildegard lived in the 12th century, her insights about the Church and society are very contemporary and have much to offer us today. She is one of only four female doctors of the Church.

“Summer Creation Vacation”

Nature is one of the most rewarding gifts we have in our lives. Praying and sharing nature, and her experiences with others is so rewarding. Marty shares the gifts of nature she has captured with her camera and this year we will celebrate the season of summer on a little “Summer Creation Vacation”.

We are graced by the creatures of our planet, our brothers and sisters as we share our world. They are good reminders as we share and pray with them every day.
