Members of the Art Guild at Mt. St. Joseph University have completed a mural for the large wall of the EarthConnection building facing the university parking lot. Hundreds of people park in that lot for classes at MSJ as well as games at the stadium. We have often been asked, “What is that building”? Discussing this at a staff meeting, we decided to ask the art department for help, and they suggested asking members of the Art Guild.

Several members of the Guild came over for a meeting with us to offer design suggestions. We looked over the art work they had done and decided to combine several of their designs. The new mural proudly announces EarthConnection— Living Lightly on Earth with beautiful graphics. Student artist Anne Coleman also painted a mural for the Earth Room. featuring a raccoon in the center.
